Project Valentine’s Baby

I’ve got some news! A little valentine’s baby is heading my way! Well, almost, my due date is February 13th. And if you didn’t already guess from the color below, it’s a second little boy for our family.

Though I was positive I was having a girl, I’m thrilled to have another little boy join our family and excited that my two-year-old son is going to have a brother. I’m going to lean hard on Melisa, pro mom of two young boys, for advice when things get hairy!

Now my mind is racing with what I need to do. Nursery design? How much furniture should I repurpose from my two-year-old? Does it mean I’ll have to kick my two-year-old out of his crib? Did I mention we’re in the middle of trying to buy a house? It’s a lot for this pregnant mama. I know many of you have been through it before, so I’m counting on you guys to help me out as I share my plans and questions over the next few months.

Any other PN readers with February due dates out there?

Congrats to you and your family! And yes! I'm due February 17, 2012 - a baby girl! My first daughter was born on February 13, 2010. She will be two years old when her little sister arrives! I look forward to Valentine's Day themed birthday parties for my girls in the future...working on a big girl bedroom (will post in coming weeks) for the oldest, her new sis will take the current nursery (phew!), and bins of saved baby girl clothes too! :) Cheers Momma!

Congrats! I have a girl (7 yrs) and a boy (nearly 6 months) so I'll be no help! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! Have fun designing your nursery. That was always one of my favorite things to do while pregnant. Being able to sit in their nursery waiting for them to arrive is heaven. Enjoy!
