The Louisville fun isn’t stopping anytime soon. I was just commenting to a reader how most of the new products featured here will be available in January. The best way to describe this crazy kids show, known as ABC, is to call it one giant sneak peek of what’s in store for baby and child in 2012. Coming away from the show, our team gained a renewed sense of excitement for what we do because the people designing and developing are incredibly passionate—it’s an awesome thing to see in action. So without further ado, here’s more sweet scoop…
The MDB Family of Brands, such as Babyletto, Nurseryworks and the all-new Franklin & Ben, knocked it out of the park with their new lines and great design. First up, I am calling on all my traditional and transitional friends. You’re gonna love what you see here starting with the Jenny Lind crib reinvented.
Franklin & Ben rocked it with rockstar designer and PN friend, Jennifer Delonge, who came up with this vintage-meets-modern duo. And here’s the mind blowing part of it all…the cribs are under $500! Truly the designer look concept for less. Team PN will vouch that these look even better in person (darn fluorescent exhibit hall lighting!).
The Copley Collection comes in a masculine, navy option to last well beyond the nursery.
Mason and his library pulls with soft gray stain deserve a round of applause.
We’ve already leaked this incredible Nurseryworks rocker on our Facebook page to complement last year’s impressive Lucite crib known as Vetro.
And it keeps getting better with the Gossip Girl-gone-baby Uptown collection.
Heading into modern, Canadian nice guys Monte Design just came out with a happening upholstered twin bed to match to their popular Luca glider. We’re just wild over the white welting.
Next up, LA designers new to the baby arena, SPI Baby, made a splash with their custom-covered wingback glider and bright, shiny pulls. The show was a great opportunity to hang with these talented ladies and rest our tired feet!
Nursery art can be perceived as a dime a dozen these days, but contemporary newcomer Art Addiction’s Art For Kids is worthy of a very detailed post our fans will love. Call us officially obsessed. This piece below was a PN fave for the family room wall.
Lastly, Orbit took center stage with the new Orbit Baby Double Helix available Spring 2012. Again, more to come, but this bassinet slash rocker slash swivel double stroller is one all-encompassing vehicle. Add their super smart side skateboard for big brother or sister and this baby has it all!
