Little Love for SPI Baby

We recently came across SPI Baby – a new line of furniture and accessories for kids, and found true love.  The pieces are beautiful & the owners are our type of gals!

The first piece that caught our eye was their fabulous glider: The Winward Wingback Rocker. We love the shape, the fabric options are modern, fresh and adorable and the design is pretty much perfect.

As soon as we saw this chair, we knew we had to use it in an upcoming design (photos coming soon!).  Our plan to use the chair also resulted in an opportunity to meet the two lovely owners at the ultra-chic Los Angeles “SoHo House”.

We asked Sarah & Alison – the owners of SPI Baby, and great designers too – why they were inspired to start their company, and here’s what they told us: “Many of our clients have young children and growing families, so our work began to include designing children’s rooms and nurseries for them. We slowly began to design and manufacture pieces for our clients, and this process led us to creating an entire line of furniture and accessories.”

We also crush on several other pieces from their line – this changer is a perfect fit for convenience and style in the nursery.  Appropriately named the “Happy Hamper” it’s ultra-versatile and super-fun.

Yeah, they have pretty stuff here, but I think they need to expand their selection.

I checked out their site, and wow, furniture love!!! I love the prints they use and the modern design. I wish they'd offer more products, though, for more choices.
