The holidays are in full swing and social media accounts are all a twitter with kind comments from those giving thanks and showing their appreciation. We can’t help but feel extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received by the blogging and baby biz communities. Our thanks goes to the one million readers this year who read our blog posts, shared pictures in our gallery and took the time to comment.     This is an amazing giveaway! We are expecting a baby girl in March. As my husband is Active Duty military, we live far away from both of our families. I had planned to fly home to see my family in January and was supposed to have a shower at that time. However, due to some complications with my pregnancy, I am no longer able to fly.     I am expecting my 3rd child in May. We werent expecting to have another child, my last pregnancy was very difficult, and my son was born a month early after a month long stay in hospital in bed. We sold everything baby we owned and moved to a smaller house. We then found out that my IUD had failed and here we are expecting #3. With a small house, and no baby stuff.

    After 8 years of trying, uncluding a surgery for my husband, and two IVF procedures for me, we are finally expecting our miracle in April! We are so excited.     I deserve to win because… I’m a brand new, first time mom, who NEVER expected to have a baby. I knew nothing about babies at all, so this has been a huuuge learning experience for me, and a big life transformation!! Plus, I’ve always worked in retail management, lots of overtime, just go go go. After my maternity leave, my employer decided not to work with me on a reduced schedule, and just let me go!!

    If you had told me a year ago that in 2010 I would turn 30, and be an unemployed single mom, trying to finish college, I would have laughed. But thats where I am, and with bigger thighs to go along with it all :) But with all of the challenges, my life feels like it is exactly where it should be, and I’m the happiest I have ever been! I’m thankful for the help from all of my friends and family that allowed me to have things for the baby… This contest would give us some MUCH needed gear that we are missing!!! <3

We are very excited. We had a boy over two years ago and have much to donate/ give away to friends and family with young ones of his that won’t transfer over to the baby girl.     Baby #2 is on the way! We are sooo excited, a little scared but feeling truly overjoyed. We learned from our experience with Baby #1 that our hearts will expand and overflow with all of the love that we will need.

    My friend, Crystal, was in a car accident a few months ago with several other people. They all survived the crash, but my friend Crystal has had several surgeries and now wears a trach. At the time of the accident, she was three months pregnant. Thankfully, the baby made it through everything! She is now just a month from meeting baby Jayden.     After several complications and scares with my pregnancy while being on pelvic rest at home, I ended up having to spend over a month at the hospital on bed rest and had my baby via c-section 3 weeks early. Since everything happened so unexpectedly, I wasn’t able to have a baby shower or go out and purchase what I needed before the baby arrived. Now that I have a huge hospital bill, a lot of purchasing is having to be delayed. Winning this would be such a huge blessing!

    Wow, what a generous giveaway! I’m expecting – the baby is due May 1. This is our first baby, the first grandchild for all 4 grandparents and the first great-grandchild on my side of the family.     I hate tooting my own horn or even asking for things. I always feel so rude. No one stepped up to the plate to throw me a baby shower for either of my boys. I have a 2.5 yr old & a 2 month old. I felt really sad about it for the longest time. On top of it all my husband is a trucker and he’s only home Sat/Sun.. makes it difficult right now to get out and get things/do things.     Ok….so I would love to win this Baby Shower for myself, and share it with my sister in-law who is due in June. My 3rd baby was born on Labor Day and he is 3 months old and is also the only boy.     I need to win this because I try so hard to support my children but I have little means to do so. I am a victim of an abusice boyfriend and Ive been left to care for two small children and Im having my baby girl Dec.20th. I have only immediate family that is going through their own financial hardship and I wasnt able to throw a baby shower. Im trying to get things together from local agencies but its all 2nd hand. I have two boys and this will be my 1st baby girl and Id love for her to have NEW things! I can only pray that God will let me win this because I so desperatly need this.     Just over 2 yrs ago my husband lost his automotive job. Going from a great income to nothing and not having any luck finding a new position had taken its toll on our fam. With the suprise arrival of our third baby life was about to get so much harder. My husband had to take a very low paying job and now works 6 days a week to keep us afloat. I knew life would be tough but never expected it to be so very hard for us all. Winning this contest would be a dream come true and a huge moral booster.     My friend Sherry is the most unusual and unelievable person I have ever met. She is profoundly deaf but you would never guess- she graduated from an Ivy League college, became an RN, is a wonderful wife and mother, and the most devoted, generous and caring friend. She is the first person waiting at your door with a basket of homegrown vegetables when you move into the neighborhood, she’ll handkit a beautiful hat for your newborn, and will help you in any way possible. This summer she gave me the most generous gift I have ever received- she watched my 2 year old rabunctious twins HAPPILY for 2 weeks so I can go on a much needed vacation. Not only did she refuse to take payment, she gave my kids the best time that they didn’t want to leave! AND only after Ii came back did she tell me she was in her first trimester of pregnancy- imagine running after toddler twins when all you want to do is crawl back in bed and vomit!! Well this new addition of hers is coming in March and if there is ANYTHING I can possibly do for her I would love to. This is going to be Sherry’s 4th child and I know that for her last 3 kids she has been using items that she used a a child or hand-me-downs from friends. She would never spend money on extras for herself since she is so generous and giving to others but now I would like her to get some nice things back.

    I am entering for myself because we have a 3 month old baby girl and have gone through a lot this year. I left my FT job in Florida to relocate to NYC, get married and become a SAHM. This happened all within a year. The shock of the move is devestating enough with the climate change and the culture change. I used to jump in my car and go and now I have to consider weather, traffic, parking with a baby. I left all my friends and family behind and it is difficult to make friends while being in the house. It is also difficult to go shopping especially for the holidays much less for weekly supplies. This prize would not only be a financial boost, but also an emotional celebration.

    My daughter, Kristin, and her husband, Nick are expecting their first baby in March. They are a wonderful couple and both work very hard at their jobs. They were so excited to be pregnant. It would be such a special treat for me to win them this beautiful set for their new little girl, Mila’s room. She will be born in March and the pregnancy has not been without its difficulties. Kristin is a high risk pregnancy and will have to undergo surgery to remove a part of the placenta after the birth. But she is so happy and has done everything possible to insure that Mila has a safe birth. Her dad and I are very proud of them and how they have handled this difficult pregnancy.

    I would love to win this because we are expecting a baby in January, and this is the 2nd baby in 12 months for us. I have been dealing with 2 high risk pregnancies back to back, and have been on bedrest. Being a 1 income family, things have been very tight….We can’t even afford to get the kids anything for the holidays or gifts for my daughter’s 1st birthday, let alone gear for the baby on the way. This would be such a blessing, and whatever I didn’t need, I would pass along to a friend who is a single mom and is struggling to make ends meet herself!

    This virtual shower is an awesome giveaway! My husband and I are expecting our first baby in May. After 2 surgeries and being told that my chances that my having a baby were low, God has seen fit to bless us with our own little one. This gift would be such a huge blessing to my husband and I. I lost my job as a mortgage loan officer in Dec 2008 when the market crashed and was able to get another job immediately in another field only to be laid off again in March of this year. I am currently unemployed. Although I receive unemployment my husband is carrying most of the load. We would really appreaciate this gift and be able to utilize all of the items.     This is an awesome giveaway! I think that we should win this because we have had an awful month! we went to our families for thanksgiving… while we were gone our Apt. set on fire! We lost everything we don’t have renters insurance we live month to month! My Husband works full time and goes to school full time and we barley make it i stay at home with all my babies. We met each other in Kindergarden, cheered together, told each other about our first kisses, got into trouble together (we stole her fathers car at 14,), graduated high school together, we in each others weddings and now she is pregnant with her first child.     My son and his girlfriend are going to have a baby on April 7th 2011. He is having a very hard time finding a job and she is only working part time at a Doctors office on $9/hr.     Wow, this would be a dream to win. Everyone here has a story and what a tough choice you have. In short, I was trying to have a baby via invitro the doctor made a mistake and I became septic, almost died and had a forced hystyrectomy. I was on sick leave for 12 weeks and went back to work and was laid off. Thankfully I survived it all and am now completing an adoption after 5 years as a single parent.

    I would love to win this because I just had my second baby and with the economy as it is, buying any baby item seems like a luxury!     I recently moved away from home and now live in a remote area in Alaska! My family threw me a lovely virtual shower but I only received gifts from 3 out of 30 people! It was very nice that everyone participated and sent back packets that my sister had sent out but it would of been nice if they included gifts. I know that baby showers aren’t about the gifts and more about me sharing with my loved ones how excited and happy I am for the blessing that is coming in January but it helps so much when you do get gifts.     I’m due in 3 weeks my first baby! It’s a boy! And since my husband is serving in the US military we are not rolling around in dough.     Our family would love to be blessed with this for baby #3 coming in March! I have been in school full time for 4 years now with two little ones at home that are now 5 and 6. It has been really difficult and now with baby #3 coming two months before I was to graduate, it put graduation off a year… putting more stress on my hubby who has been our only income.
    We feel incredibly blessed to have another little one on the way, but with money so difficult we feel unprepared for his arrival.

    My husband and I are about to have our 3rd baby. About 2 months before we found out we were expecting we donated all of our baby items, and I mean everything from our crib bedding to our baby carrier. He is in the military and will be gone alot in the next 2 years due to training.
