Skip Hop Officially Enters The Baby Bedding Biz

What’s not to love about modern, functional and fun Skip Hop? We got the skinny on the latest happenings from the NYC studio that started the diaper bag revolution. For us, Skip Hop evokes memories of being hip Manhattanite moms cruising with our shiny new bugaboos and the “it” diaper bag so conveniently attached. Oh, those were days. Well, Skip Hop hasn’t stopped cranking out the cool gear. Just take a look at their ABC Kid Expo booth…

The popular Zoo Pack motif is no longer left for preschool. You can now entertain during bath time with their new Zoo Mitts; puppet wash cloths which come packaged with a smart suction hook – Skip Hop style of course!

I personally adore these new book ends that won’t break the bank. Although I have a feeling that the books aren’t going to stay standing all that long because they are just too darn cute. Good thing they are safe and soft too.

And now making it’s nursery debut. Drum roll please…

Skip Hop has officially entered the baby bedding business! With the success of their iconic Mod Dot Collection, it was only a matter of that time that Skip Hop develop new lines of crib bedding, decorative pillows, blankets and sheets. We had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Archambault who shared with us their latest bedding collections due to hit stores later this year.

We particularly love the sweet stitching and linen detail found within The Treetop Friends Collection. This 4-piece crib set will be available 1/23/11. Both collections retail for $220 each.

Stay tuned for more good things to come from Skip Hop. What are your thoughts on their new lines?

I absolutely love the Treetop Friends bedding. I know owls are kind of overused right now, but it's from Skip Hop, so I don't mind.

Just in time for my baby girl's April arrival!!! I loved Mod Dot but want something slightly feminine. Both Flower Burst and Treetop Friends will do that. Now I just have to get the room ready before the bedding it out! That'll be challenging...

I know the owl theme is becoming a cliche when it comes to baby stuff and baby rooms, but I love how this bedding collection was put together. Yeah, the stitching gives it a charming effect.
