Festive Fall Party Ideas

With Fall right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about planning parties centered around deeper color palettes!  No worries!  You can still create a festive, child-like party using rich, sophisticated tones.  Take this color palette as an example: orange, teal and yellow.  It’s colorful, festive and can work for either a boy or a girl!

A few fun details can really pull a party together!  Try using different patterned ribbons to tie around napkins, wrap around centerpieces, or to cluster together a group of lollipops as a party favor.  A series of brightly colored frosted cookies adds a pop of excitement to any dessert table!

This easy-to-make felt circle garland is a fabulous, inexpensive way to dress up any party!  Click over to The Purl Bee for the full tutorial.

So now that I have shown you one of my favorite color palettes for a Fall party…..tell me, what type of parties are you planning this Fall?

I'm working on my son's 2nd birthday party!! We're hosting it a bit early this year (his birthday is November 10th) but with baby #2 due November 4th we've decided it's our chance to throw a fall/pumpkin/harvest themed party for our little man in October. Thinking chocolate browns, bright poppy and a touch of lime green......? Of course, I may change my mind!
