Giveaway: The Silhouette Machine
This week’s giveaway is a crafter’s dream! Now you may have caught a glimpse of it last week over at the TomKat Studio where crafty Kim whipped up super sweet decorative cupcake wrappers and scored nearly 2500 entries. After I picked my jaw off the floor, I thought I better come up with something crafty myself. I decided to channel Le Papier Studio and make my very own silhouette art. Afterall, It is called the Silhouette Machine!
Voila! My latest entry hall design and family tree. I tend to get carried away twice a year at the semi-annual Aaron Brothers penny sale (going on now!) so I picked up a handful of simple white frames. I filled them with brightly patterned scrapbook paper to pop against the subtle gray and graphic greek key wallpaper from Jonathan Adler. And then came along the Silhouette: A digital cutting machine for all your crafty projects.
Once I downloaded the 64-bit driver to ensure it was compatible to my latest laptop the process was simple. The cd rom of directions are clear and I ultimately toggled between the two windows to coach me through my first cut. Once I made my first silhouette, I couldn’t stop. I quickly realized that the possibility are endless. From vinyl wall decals to heat transfers to even etched glass!

The machine itself doesn’t take up too much room. It prints, it cuts and thousands of designs can be downloaded for only 99 cents each or less should you purchase a subscription. No expensive cartridges are required and best part, fonts from your own computer may be used. I am hooked and confident that you will be too so that’s why the folks at Silhouette Machine are generously offering their fabulous product to one lucky Project Nursery reader.
WIN IT! Project Nursery is giving away one Silhouette Machine valued at $300 plus transfer paper and vinyl to kick off your next design project. Hop onto Silhouette’s website and comment back with the type of project you plan to create with the Silhouette! Contest ends Friday July 9th at 11:59 PST.

Love all your projects using the silhouette, great inspiration. I’d like to use it to make fun wall decor for my kids rooms, make fun things for my kids classrooms in the fall, and I’d love to see how it handles freezer paper for t-shirts.

Wow. This machine is amazing. I’m just about as close to a professional photographer as you can be without really being one. LOL! This would be such an awesome gadget to have. I would do all the projects but I think I would try the card making first. It sounds like such a blast. Thanks for this giveaway!
