Sugar and Spice Makes “Bon bon” Nice!

Children’s textile designer Stacy McCallum of Pixie Dust Decor has been busy creating more of what we love – timeless fabrics with a modern twist. Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes her latest collection, Bon bon: A perfectly sweet crib confection wrapped in bold color with a sprinkle of French flair!

I’ve already suggested to Pam that the bright pink otherwise known as “pink framboise” (with a hint of red) is the must-have pink as she designs her new baby girl’s nursery. Stacy refers to it as “zippy!” and chose the bold coloration because it “feels optimistic”.  Pam and I scour the web and stores for our design clients assisting them in the selection of their crib sets. We believe Bon bon is a standout thanks to it’s one-of-a-kind pattern. When we asked Stacy about her inspiration for the Bon bon print she explains, “I have been hanging onto a vintage wallpaper swatch for years.  I just loved it and knew I would use it as inspiration at one point.  The swatch design was a bit granny for my taste so we really worked to incorporate some magical shapes in the large motifs and details like the little snowflakes and strings of beads to make it modern and pretty.”

As with all things Pixie Dust Decor, their product selection goes well beyond the crib set. Our favorite Poufs, pillows, bibs and more can be ordered online to coordinate with your design. But buyers also have the ability to make anything happen thanks to reasonable pricing and convenience offered in their custom shop. PN EXCLUSIVE!
