Design Reveal: Pretty in Pink Nursery

Happy Monday! I thought I would share my own daughter’s nursery with you today! Call me traditional, but when I pictured my baby girl’s room, all I could imagine was PINK! I am such a girly girl, and was thrilled to find out that my second child would be a girl! Now, she’s almost three, and I’m in the process of redecorating her new room in our new house, but I thought I would share her sweet baby room! It seems like yesterday when we brought her home!
Lucky for me, I have a very talented seamstress as a mother-in-law, who brings my ideas to reality! All of Kate’s bedding was custom made with pink organza and silk. Her crib skirt was gorgeous, I wish my crib would have had a higher rail, so it could have been shown in it’s full dress-like form! This adorable one from Pottery Barn Kids reminds me of Kate’s:

I saved all of the inspiration photos from when I was planning her room. Here are a few of my favorites:

I apologize, these are probably out-of-date, since I was planning the room a few years ago, however here are the sources I do have:
Top Left Crib Bedding: Barefoot Dreams
Pink Frame: Bella Fiore Line at Layla Grayce
Bottom Right Nursery: N. Selby Designs
If I was planning Kate’s nursery today, this Serena & Lily set (ironically called KATE) would definitely be my choice! Available here at Layla Grayce!
Isn’t it gorgeous?! I love the green and white damask with pops of pink! So sweet!

Perfectly pink and fit for a princess! Can’t wait to see how Kate’s “big girl” room turns out.

That is one gorgeous nursery. A celebration of everything girly. Everything in this room is fabulous but my favorite has to be the tiny rocking chair with a tutu!! Love it.
Thanks for sharing.

The paint on the floor with the green accent and the small asian plate on the wall to offer a different element is fantastic! What a serene room!

Thank you for all of your sweet comments!
Kayla – I had my eye on a similar iron “crown” canopy from Bombay Kids, but it was on back order. My MIL found this one in a catalog, I can’t remember the name at the moment. It was a gold color, and I just spray painted it white. I will see if she knows! She then made the organza panels to hang from it!

Where did you get the crown canopy from? I’m decorating my babies room and I’ve looked on Amazon, Ebay, Google…and I cannot find one like this. It’s so beautiful!
