You may already be familiar with children’s artwork company Oopsy daisy, Fine Art For Kids. Yup, those stretched canvas wall hangings that are bright, cheerful and make you want to sing “This Land Is Your Land”. Since its beginnings in 1999, Oopsy daisy’s collection has grown from a handful of pieces to over 1000 works of art, and more than 70 artists from around the world are involved in their creation. They have recently expanded their line to include lamps, rugs, nightlights and gift items like necklaces for girls, growth charts and dolls.
The company mission is to bring joy and color to children’s spaces, either through artful product or through corporate donation. Many of their pieces have educational aspects and on each piece of wall art the company includes an artist biography. Parent conceived and owned, Oopsy daisy donates a portion of annual sales to charities that directly assist children. That sure makes you feel good about opening your wallet to buy a bit of Oopsy daisy, doesn’t it?
