“Little Giraffe is love”…Love at first site that is. The very first time I laid eyes on Little Giraffe was at a Nordstroms. This uber-luxurious blanket seemed as if it were calling out to me. I actually remember standing there petting it for some time before it dawned on me that it would make an excellent shower gift. So when it came time for baby #1 and I to be showered with love and gifts by family and friends, I was beaming when I unwrapped an LG blanket to call our own.
From Zuma to Suri, it’s a mini-celeb must-have plush blanket. The warmth it provides alone makes it splurge-worthy and the quality is why Little Giraffe has built such a stellar reputation over the years.
Win It! Visit Little Giraffe to learn more about their traditional Chenille and Luxe collections or take a peek at their new design releases. Let’s us know what you think about Little Giraffe or for fun, share with us the importance of your child’s beloved “blankie”. One lucky PN reader will win an LG Blanket ($58) and Hooded Towel ($34) in either pink or blue. Contest ends Friday, January 15th, 2009 at 11:59pm PST.

CONTEST CLOSED – Congrats AEOT!

I think this is so adorable. I still have my baby blanket and it’s great. I think having one for your little one is something all families should do.
The hooded towel is about the cutest little thing that I’ve seen. My son hasn’t latched onto a blankie yet, but I’m sure that he will soon. He’s still a sink bather too, but I’m definitely going to get him some of those cute towels for when he’s older. Thanks!
Beautiful blankets! My son has a green blanket that he likes to snuggle up with when he naps.

There is nothing more precious than your little ones favorite “blankie”. My daughters was a cream blanket attached to a lamb stuffed animal, which she called “Baby”. Baby went everywhere with us and somehow had the power to make everything allright! My daughter is now 13 years old and Baby still sits center stage on her bed!
Heavens LG is too soft looking… I have a thing for blankets so looking AND being soft is a must… My son’s lovey has been everywhere and he use to refuse to sleep without it. Now he is a little better about it but still gets upset if it is in the dryer at bed time. In fact, he READS stories to it at night time to help it sleep. Yes blankets and loveys are very important…
I love the little giraffe blankies. They look really soft and cuddly.
I love the designs especially the Retro 60s Florette thanks for the chance to win eaglesforjack@gmail.com

I love these blankets, so luxerious and soft.
My oldest daughter inherited a quilt my grandma made me, and named it her “bitty”. She carried that old quilt around until it was tatters and she was around 8. We still have it, but its too worn to use on my new baby.
I think blankies are important because they offer more than warmth. They offer a child security.
I have a blankie addicted child and this looks like a viable substitute for the battered white chenille and satin blankie that is looking so gross these days! I would love to win from Little Giraffe!
My son’s blankie is named Silky. I tried to get him a tan colored Silky for backup but he didn’t like it as much. Two weeks ago it was nap time and I asked my husband to find White Silky for us because I could only find Brown Silky.
He said, “That IS White Silky!”
Ew!
The Little Giraffe products must be soft– you can practically feel it just looking at them! my daughter isn’t attached to any blankie yet but maybe we haven’t found the right one yet!
These look absolutely amazing, soft, fluffy and cozy. I can’t imagine a little one not growing attached to one of these. This would be a perfect gift for one of my close friends at work due to have their first child in a few months

Could those be any more gorgeous?!
My daughter isn’t in love with a blanky, but she does love her current hooded towel – I’m afraid that by dragging it around so much she’s going to wear it out without using it!!
So who won? was it even announced?
