There’s nothing like a playroom to bring on the arts and crafts! Unfortunately, not all of us are lucky enough to have an entire room to dedicate for playtime but the good news is, you don’t need one. A small area in the home ideally located in the family room or just off the kitchen is really all the space your kids need and you require to keep an eye on them! In fact, I recently determined that it was time to make our formal dining room a little less formal and much more functional. I then took my existing breakfast nook and converted it into a playroom – best move ever!

Sure ample toy storage and a kids table are key for any play area but designating the space with your child’s art or creating inexpensive art of your own is just what you need to add a bit of playroom fun!
