The Shutter Canuck

For all you photography lovers out there you must check out a new member of the blogging world, The Shutter Canuck! Mom of two boys, Liam and Graham, NYC resident Johanna Lindsay started The Shutter Canuck to showcase photos she has taken over the years. Many feature a “day in the life” in Manhattan. Johanna grew up in Toronto and fell in love with taking pictures as a young girl. Now that she has a family she loves to snap shots of her kids, friends and even strangers. The picture of little Liam gazing out the window on a trip to visit Grandma, just precious. Johanna, how about a children’s series for Project Nursery readers? Vintage toys, playground shots or central park zoo animals (fans of Madagascar will be so excited). We have featured a lot of art on canvas for the nursery but I’m really in love with the idea of a whole bunch of photographs to fill the walls of any child’s room.
