Giveaway: Bloom’en Nutrition

Comments 63

We are kid design blog. However when something special comes along, we often feel compelled to share it.

Ever think your prenatals need a makeover? How about being ridiculously nauseous and having to swallow a horse pill of a prenatal vitamin? Am I bringing back some bad memories for some? I apologize.

Bloom’en Nutrition is a prenatal vitamin chew created by a mom who really knows vitamins.  Rebecca Niehus has spent the past 10 years in the vitamin industry.  During her pregnancy Rebecca struggled to keep down her vitamins and became determined to find a better way! She found one, because I (while not pregnant yet) can’t stop popping these tasty, citrus, ginger blossom flavored chewables. It’s like candy with omega-3 fish oils, folic acid, vitamin D and lutein. Blossoms are all natural, contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

If you don’t believe me,  you can ask my husband! I probably shouldn’t share this but my husband grabbed one, popped it in his mouth and said “What are you eating?”. I paused for a minute (which was kinda mean) and then watched him freak when I said prenatal vitamin. I figured it served him right for taking my candy! Funny because he too admitted they were good.

You don’t have to be pregnant to benefit from EPA/DHA/folic acid or to enter to win a plentiful care package of Bloom’en Nutrition Citrus Ginger Blossom Prenatal Vitamin Chews!

WIN IT: By commenting on this post to let us know if you suffer(ed) from “morning” sickness and your thoughts about Bloom’en Nutrition! As always, a winner will be chosen at random. Contest ends Friday, March 27th, 11:59pm pst.

EXTRA ENTRIES (OPTIONAL):
1. Subscribe or let us know you are a subscriber with a comment.
2. Post on our Forum and comment.
3. Blog it and comment.
4. TwitterFacebookStumble or just share it and comment.

*Please comment separately for each.

Note: I see by the comments that some of you pregnant mamas need to try Bloom’en ASAP! Visit their site to order a free sample!

CONTEST CLOSED – Congrats to Julie!

At 14 weeks pregnant and nausous all day every day I would like to know who came up with the term “morning” sickness. My sickness does not discriminate and will hit me any time morning, noon or night. I informed my mother the other day that I have thrown up more in 2009 than in my entire 32 years of exsistence. I have the ruined taste buds to prove it…there are a lot of things I can’t taste anymore. Pre-natal vitamins = instant YACK! :) Thanks for a great giveaway!

I had terrible morning sickness for the first three months of this pregnancy, losing 10 lbs off of my already thin frame. The thought of swallowing anything, let alone a giant vitamin, made me puke! I wish I would have come across Bloom’en Nutrition Prenatal vitamin chews sooner!

this pregnancy has really made me ponder the question of which i hate more: feeling nauseous but not vomiting, or, actually vomiting, usually projectile-style. either way, i’ve really gotten to the point where i’ve struggled to get my prenatal vitamin even inches near my mouth… headed to the site for free samples now.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and though I haven’t thrown up yet, knock wood, I have near-constant queasiness like I just got off a tilt-a-whirl after a day of too much sun and funnel cakes. It’s a fun ride but man, I wish I could like food again.

I only had 3 weeks of queasiness–when I could only eat dry turkey sandwiches because I couldn’t smell them–but found certain smells nauseating (some brands of detergents, cigarettes, the meat counter at the grocery store) including the smell of the vitmins. It sounds like these would solve that problem.

Ugh…fortunately for me I didn’t throw up more than a couple times…but the constant day-long feelings of nausea and the occasional bouts of violent retching was definately enough for me!! I took to taking my prenatals just before hopping into bed in the hopes that that would keep my body from violently rejecting them…and that seemed to work for the duration of my “morning” sickness. Now I can actually take them with meals as supposed to, but I sometimes still revert back to taking them just before bed!!
