Giveaway: Children’s Book Seamus McNamus

Comments 50

I wasn’t telling a lie when I said in last weeks post that I knew some folks in high places over at Worthwhile Books. They have offered up a free signed copy of the newly released children’s tale “Seamus McNamus: The Goat Who Would Be King” to one lucky Project Nursery reader. The book is about an Irish goat named Seamus McNamus and his quest to save his farm. If you missed last weeks review you can get all the information on the book and how by clicking here. Seamus has received excellent reviews and is available for pre-order at Amazon.

Here’s how to win “Seamus McNamus” signed by author Rob Kurtz:

1. Comment on this post with a favorite book from your childhood. (One of mine is “The Little House”)

2. Extra entries are counted by 1) posting on our Forum (up to 5x) 2) subscribing or commenting that you are a subscriber and 3) blogging about our giveaway.

3. The winner will be selected at random by using Random.org

4. Contest ends Friday, February 6th, 11:59pm pst

I devoured every one of Walter Farley’s Black Stallion and the Island Stallion books. I lived and breathed horses and eventually had one of my own, named Cochise, when I was about 16.

I was an avid reader as a kid (that’s why I’m a librarian today) so it’s very hard for me to choose a favorite book! But I read the Anne of Green Gables books at least once a year growing up. It was like visiting old friends each time I read them.

I would love to win this cute book for my Grandson. My favorite book as a kid was the little boat that could. As a matter of fact I still have it needless to say it is very old and raggy looking.
